OUR STORY
My name is Cherry, and together with my husband David, we’re the co-founders this unlikely venture - a family owned small business.
It all started with the unrestricted personalities of the two of us, David and I were both corporate employees with stable jobs, but day-to-day routine was uncreative-- always daydreaming about chasing an adventure.
OURHOUR originated from an idea we have always had, that is, help people be glamorous with some simple accessories that could be purchased affordable. Luxury brands aren’t a thing we are after. Instead, we were struck by the simple, effortless beauty. What kind of thing achieves this effect？
We started with watches and suits. So we named the store "OURHOUR".
To realize the original idea, David and I worked hard to find the right brands and did a site visit and finally settled on a few brands we are working with now. Fortunately, we passed the most difficult preparation period together.
In the early days we operated in our house. We turned the living room into an office. I am in charge of the daily management of the store and the communication with the partner brands. David performs daily order shipments. Two employees mainly deal with various pre-sales and after-sales problems of customers. My Dad is do the job of quality inspection before delivery. It was cozy and crazy, but slowly we began to feel hat we're going to do is on the right track in our little company.
Now we have 15 people with dedicated offices and our own warehouses and factories. We start adding other products, such as men's suits. We hope that in addition to the embellishment of the classic single product of watches, You can also mix and match a dazzling outfit at ourhour, which can not only be affordable but save your time to the greatest extent.
We have grown a lot since first day; as a brand and as individuals. We are firmly believe that our company has had the honor of being a part of countless weddings, proms, parties and many other special occasions, helping thousands of people look sophisticated!
